Yukiko "Akki" Inoue Leavitt, 87 of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her\nfamily on Sunday, November 13, 2022.\nYukiko was born in Kawasaki-shi, Japan to the late Seitaro and Yoshi Inoue. She is preceded in death by\nher husband, Donald A. Leavitt and her son, Dean Leavitt.\n\nYukiko was a devout Buddhist who loved her family more than words could say. She enjoyed traveling\nback to Japan whenever she got a chance. She enjoyed going to Broadway and Theater shows with\nfamily and lunches with her friends.\nYukiko is survived by 3 daughters, Patricia Lewis of Newport, NC, Donna Woods and husband Tony of\nFayetteville, and Doreen Freitag and husband Chris of Summerville, SC; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer\nPrivette and husband Pedro Delgado, Staci Privette, Ian Lewis, Deana Smith and husband Grant, Patrick\nWoods and wife Kristen, Elias Gause and wife Amanda, and Nick Freitag; 5 great-grandchildren, Sara\nAlicea, Julien Pozo, Charley Smith, Jackson Smith, and Raylan Gause; and one great-great grandchild,\nSerenity Alicea.\nThe family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00PM Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Adcock Funeral\nHome. A Buddhist Memorial Service will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM in the chapel at the funeral home.\nA graveside service will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.\n\nArrangements are entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home, Spring Lake.
