Waymon C. "W.C" Parker Obituary (1937 - 2016)

Spring Lake, NC: Waymon C. "W.C." Parker, 79, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 in Wilson, North Carolina. W.C. served in the North Carolina National Guard, was a Mason, and former member of Hollandale Advent Christian Church. He was the former owner of Spring Lake Super Flame Gas in Spring Lake. W.C. is preceded in death by his parents Alton B. Parker and Lois Lee B. Parker. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2016, at 2:00 PM in Adcock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Murray officiating. Entombment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park Mausoleum. Surviving are two sons: Richard W. Parker of Marion, NC and Jerry Lee Parker of Spring Lake; and sisters, Shirley P. Newsome of Cameron, NC and Shelby P. Byers of Braunfels, TX. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Rachael Riley of Robertsdale, AL and great-granddaughter, Rhianna Gracie Riley also of Robertsdale, AL. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Adcock Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:30 PM prior to the service.
