Virginia Whitbeck

Virginia Whitbeck, born May 19, 1963, passed away on January 23, 2026. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Corey, and a loving mother, sister, and friend.

Virginia loved her Lord and lived a life centered on faith, family, and loyalty. She was family-oriented, a loyal friend, and a steady source of comfort to those who knew her.

A talented seamstress, Virginia also found joy in baking, gardening, and caring for animals. She expressed her love through quiet service and nurturing care. It was said that whatever she got her hands on flourished.

She is survived by her husband, Corey; her three sons; two grandsons and one granddaughter; as well as her mother, sister, and brother. She was preceded in death by her father and her youngest brother.

Virginia will be lovingly remembered for her faithful spirit and her deep devotion to family.

A celebration of Virginia's life will be held for family and friends at Layton Chapel Baptist Church on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 1pm.
