Fayetteville, NC: Retired MSG Vicente Collazo-Grau, 95, died Sunday, December 20, 2015. He served for more than thirty years in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam.\n\nFuneral services will be held Monday, January 4, 2016, at 1:00 PM in Adcock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Interment with military rites will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Fort Bragg, NC.\n\nSurviving is his wife of seventy years, Carmen Olga Collazo-Davila; sons: Rafael Collazo of Grand Junction, CO, Julio Collazo of Fayetteville, NC, and Vicente Collazo of Stroudsburg, PA; daughters: Olga Perez of Sanford, NC and Doris Sturgis of Raleigh, NC; sisters: Yolanda Munoz, Esther Zamora, Doris Collazo and Dalila Colon, all of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.\n\nThe family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50 Memphis TN, 38101, or the charity of your choice, in the name of Vicente Collazo-Grau.
