Vicci Lee Fix Obituary (1946 - 2020) - Spring Lake, North Carolina

VICCI LEE ASHBURN FIX Vicci earned her wings on 3 July, 2020. She was the daughter of Lugene Ashburn and Marie Holman Chute. Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Kenneth Chute and Barry Chute. She is survived by her sister, Robin Frey (husband, Jim), and her brother Larry Stanfield (wife Debby), special friends Wanda Jarrell and Johnie and Patty Spell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many cousins. She worked at Womack Army Medical Center for over 30 years before retiring in 2006. Vicci served WAMC unselfishly and loyally; she was dedicated to WAMC - its soldiers, families and staff members. After her retirement, Vicci was an avid gardener, loved to travel, participated in many church activities, and was involved in various crafts before she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
