USAF MSGT Bill Cable Obituary (1932 - 2021) - Spring Lake, North Carolina

Retired Air Force MSGT William "Bill" Lee Cable, 88, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Kenneth Cable, Sr. and Freda Estela Harden Cable, and his wife, F'touma Lachen Cable "Jennie". Bill enjoyed skeet shooting competitions with his brother, Jim and was an avid Ohio State football fan. He especially loved his extracurricular activities and just enjoyed life with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Martine Cable; brothers, Larry Cable, Tom Cable, and Jerry Cable; sister, Jennie Lynn Dohner; three grandchildren, Katrina Kirschner (Joe), Jason Sherrer, and James Sherrer; and five great-grandchildren, Taylor Kirschner, Bryson Kirschner, Jaiden Sherrer, Haylee Sherrer and Dawson Sherrer. There will be a private burial at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.
