Troy Lee Bina, Sr., 53, of Lillington, passed away November 18, 2022.\n\nTroy was born on June 25, 1969, in Portsmouth, Virginia to Dan Bina and the late Mary Dickinson Parks. Besides his mother, Troy is preceded in death by his brother Billy Brazeau, his sister Cami Sord and his son Troy Lee Bina, Jr.\n\nTroy is Survived by his father Dan Bina (Kath); wife, Teresa Bina; sons, Joshua Bina (Brittney), Dashedin Goldsby Bina; daughter, Janay Bina; sisters, Debbie Smith, Rana Lewis, Angie Carkhuff; brother, Micheal Carkhuff; grandchildren, Sophira Bina, Amara Bina, Vada Harper, Isyss Goldsby, Willow Goldsby, Zierra Goldsby; stepfather, Gary Brown (Martha).\n\nTroy met his wife Teresa in high school in 1987 and they spent 35 wonderful years together and grew a family that he loved so dearly. Troy was said to be a top-notch mechanic with a love for his truck which went hand in hand in his love of travel. Troy was a chef on a fishing boat in Alaska as well as doing steel work throughout the Raleigh and Cary area. Troy enjoyed learning about history and watching documentaries. Troy had a love for animals and loved music, especially old rock and roll. Troy had a big heart and loved to help anyone anyway he could and it has been said that he was very talkative and could talk your ears off if you let him. Troy was a certified welder and will be missed beyond measure.\n\nThere are no services scheduled at this time.
