Thelma Ruth Blackburn

"Tee" Caulder Blackburn: Mom, Ma, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Grandma-T, T.C or even "hey you", just don't call her Thelma! T.C Blackburn came into this world just like she left, a fighter!
Born June 13, 1948, in Fayetteville, she was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife and an honest, self-giving, unapologetic, righteous woman. She gave unconditional love to her family, even if we did not always deserve it. Her family came first, friends second- always putting herself last, maybe even to a fault.
Tee never gave up the fight, keeping her sense of humor, her smile and her family close at heart until the end. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ernie; her 3 children, Jodie, Kristina, and Lee; 8 delightful grandchildren: Ashley, Kloe, Ethan, Nick, Ben, Exavier, Hudson, and Giana; and 3 great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Sebastian and Luci. She will be reunited with her son Ernest Lee Blackburn IV.
Services will be held Monday, August 22, 2016, at 12:00 Noon at the Sandhills Veterans State Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg, NC. Despite the short notice, flowers can be accepted Monday starting at 9am at the Adcock Funeral Home, 2226 Lillington Hwy, Spring Lake, NC, 28390.
