Tammy Johnson Newton Obituary (1965 - 2018) - Spring Lake, North Carolina

Tammy Newton, 53, of Parkton, NC died Thursday, October 4th 2018. Born in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, she is the daughter of Peggy Johnson Barefoot and the late William Kyle Johnson. Tammy grew up in Spring Lake, NC and graduated from Pine Forest Senior High School. She was married to Duncan Wayne Newton, who preceded her in death. Tammy is survived by her mom; three sons, Jonathan Kyle Johnson, Jason Alan Rheaume, Juston Charles Riggs; grandbabies: Kayla Jade, Kaitlyn Marks, Zeb Marks, Angelita Maria and Alana Lenee; daughters-in-law, Michelle Griffin Johnson and Maria Nava; and one sister, Theresa Johnson Beasley. Tammy worked as a cashier and a homemaker. She enjoyed time with family and friends and her church family at Parkton United Methodist Church. Recently she enjoyed travelling and liked to say she was "enjoying early retirement". A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Adcock Funeral Home in Spring Lake.
