Rosalia "Rose" Canali Allen, 90, of Spring Lake passed away peacefully at Autumn Care of Fayetteville on March 14, 2022.\n\nRose was born on March 24, 1931. She was one of twelve children born children born to the late Italian immigrants, Antonio and Gina Canali.\n\nRose was a devout Catholic who adored her family. She leaves behind her husband of over 70 years, Theodore "Ted" Allen, and their sons, Kerry (Danele) Allen, Scott (Kim) Allen, Glenn (Bill) Allen, and Ted (Teresa) Allen; two siblings, Chuck and Evelyn; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.\n\nRose was a Korean war veteran and went on to work in civil service for for many years. She was the first female scout in Spring Lake, and also chartered the Spring Lake Theatre, where she she went on to perform in several plays . Rose loved plants, flowers, her dogs, playing the guitar, and calligraphy. She was a very kind soul and will be missed by her family and friends.\n\nThere will be a funeral mass held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Fayetteville. There will be a visitation for family and friends on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Adcock Funeral Home, Spring Lake.
