Rosario "Buzz" Valenciano Gomez

Retired SGT Rosario "Buzz" Valenciano Gomez, 78, passed away at his home on Friday, December 31, 2021.

Buzz was preceded in death by his parents, Valentin and Carlotta Valenciano Gomez; his wife of 40 years, Janice Gomez; and a daughter, Josephine Monahan.

Those left to cherish Buzz's memory include his daughter, Monica Niccum; his grandchildren; Shana Niccum, Aerial (Roy) White, Brandi (Taylor) Jones, and Gabriel (Kayla) Niccum; and his great grandchildren; Lilliana, Eoghan, and Maverick Jones, Finley and Harrison White, and Liam and Noah Niccum.

Buzz was a proud veteran of the United States Army, from which he retired as a Sergeant. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and was a friend to all. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. When he wasn't spending time with his family, Buzz was a regular fixture at the Highway 87 Waffle House in Spring Lake, NC. Buzz will be truly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

A visitation with military honors will be held in Buzz's honor on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory.
