Spring Lake, NC
Roberta Bryant of Spring Lake, NC passed away on October 19, 2020, after a short battle with Cancer. She was born in 1954 in Erie, PA and lived in Modesto, CA for most of her adult life before moving to Rockdale, TX, then Spring Lake, North Carolina. Better known to family and friends as Bobby, she loved to socialize, take random long drives in the country, and make friends with total strangers in the grocery store checkout line. Bobby loved stopping at any produce stand along her route and buying more avocados than she could eat. She enjoyed researching family history, collecting cookbooks, sewing material, and watching western movies, cooking shows, ghost, and crime shows. Her love for Tupperware also did not go unnoticed! She was an eternal extrovert, and I'm sure everyone that she has come across already knows her in the afterlife. She leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Otis Bryant, and daughters Jennifer Rush (Ronnie) and Victoria Flaviano-Reynolds (Dexter). She cherished her four grandchildren, Christopher and Trinity Rush, and Keira and Evan Flaviano-Reynolds. She is also survived by her siblings Lois Bynog, Jean Ireland, Edward Brockway, Michael Brockway, and Patrick Brockway, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bobby was preceded in death by her mother Roberta Brockway (McInvale), father Harrison Merle Brockway, and brothers James and Christopher Brockway. There will be no funeral services, as she preferred to be remembered in life, not in death. She will get her way, as she often did, but will be greatly missed and never forgotten
