Robert McLaren Horne Sr.

Robert McLaren Horne, Sr., 100, of Southern Pines, NC, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Manor Care in Pinehurst, NC.

The family will receive friends at a visitation at 10:00 A. M. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Page Memorial United Methodist Church in Aberdeen, NC followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ at a later date.

Mr. Horne is survived by his wife, Peggy Horne; children, Karen Steinman and husband, Scott of Ocala, FL, Robert M. Horne, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Sanford, NC,

Jay Horne and wife, Kathy of Flemington, NJ and Rick Horne and wife, Mary Jane of Charlton, MA; step-children, Marc Hubbard and wife, Capie of Fredericksburg, VA, David Hubbard and wife, Cleta of Southern Pines, NC and Kenneth Hubbard and wife, Debbie of Star, NC. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and eleven step-great-grandchildren.
