Rickey Jan Smith Obituary (1955 - 2017) - Spring Lake, North Carolina

Retired Army SFC Rickey Jan Smith, 62, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Born in Arkansas, he is preceded in death by his parents, William Roe Smith and Clara Warmack Smith and brother, Kevin D. Smith. He was retired from the 7th Special Forces Group and a member of CCRPC. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Adcock Funeral Home in Spring Lake. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017, at 2:00 PM in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Fort Bragg. A rendering of military rites and interment will immediately follow. Surviving is his wife, Elise L. Smith; brother, William (Bill) Roe Smith and wife, Martha, of Floral, AR; nephew, William Dolph Smith and son, William Dristen Smith ; niece, Kimberly Ann Smith and daughter, Liberty B.
