Richard S. Lovette

Retired Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Richard S. Lovette, 80, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Lovette was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired civil service worker.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the Adcock Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jack Kelly officiating. Interment with military honors will immediately follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Mr. Lovette is surved by his wife, Naoko Lovette; his daughter, Donna Smith of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and two sons, Michael and Charles of Washington State. In addition, he is survived by two sisters, Ellen Helstrom and Meri Jo Hall of Pennsylvania; four brothers, Michael Lovette of South Carolina, Kenneth Lovette, Charles Hall, Shawn Hall of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors or Disabled Veterans.
