Mrs. Peggy J. Barry, 70 of Kinston, NC passed away at her home in Sanford with loving family members by her side on August 26, 2020.\n\nPeggy is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby L. Isler, her aunt, Kathleen Hughes and her brother Jerry Kinsey. \n\nPeggy was loved deeply by her family. She leaves behind the love of her life and amazing provider Michael C. Barry; her father, James R. Isler; two children, Marco D. Croom, and Kawana N. Lee; seven grandchildren; Talesha Harvin (Jordan), Ronnie Wilson Jr., Marquana Burgess, T'Nya Lee, Tyanna Lee, Kimora Lee, and Tyra Lee; six brothers, Jimmy Branch, Thomas Branch, James Isler, Michael Isler, Tony Isler, Donald Isler; brother-in-law, Mark Barry; an aunt, Ella Lewis; an uncle, Clarence Hicks.\n\nThe family would like to express gratitude to Pastor Johnny Lewis Jr. and to the Liberty Hospice nurses, Kristina, Rebecca, Michelle, Ashley, Angela, and Emily as well as the social worker, Montgomery. Also, a special thank you to everyone who has visited or reached out during Peggy's illness.\n\nThere will be a funeral service honoring Peggy's life on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel of Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory. A private family burial will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery following the service. In keeping with CDC and North Carolina Guidelines during the pandemic, masks or face coverings should be worn and social distancing should be maintained at all times.
