Paulia Cochrane Black

Paulia Tucker Cochrane Black, 92, of Bunnlevel went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2022.

Paulia was born in Surry County North Carolina on October 8, 1929 to the late Wylie and Lela Tucker Cochrane. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl. W. Black, Sr.

Paulia was a member of Flat Branch Presbyterian Church where she served in many capacities. Above all she was a loving mother and grandmother. She, along with her late husband, owned and operated Rockhill Auto Parts for many years.

Paulia leaves her son, Earl W. Black, Jr. and his wife Donna; one granddaughter, Christy Lynn Black; two great grandchildren, Tristan Frank and Emily Jones, as well as, many extended family members and friends.

There will be a funeral service honoring Paulia's life on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 2:00PM at Flat Branch Presbyterian Church, Bunnlevel. Burial will immediately follow at Black McRae Family Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00PM at Adcock Funeral Home, Spring Lake.
