Pamela Gail Johnson Cardona, 62, of Spring Lake passed away peacefully with her husband and sister by her side on January 15, 2023.\n\nPam was born on August 4, 1960 in Fort Bragg to the late Bobby R. and Roberta Horne Johnson. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Johnson, Jr.\n\nPam was loved and adored by her family and friends. She leaves wonderful memories of her kindness and beautiful sense of humor to her best friend and husband of 45 years, Frank Cardona; sister, Teresa Wiggs and husband Bobby Wiggs, Jr.; three nephews, three nieces, and seven great nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Sigrid Acevedo; father-in-law, Chico Cardona; brother-in-law, J. R. Cardona (Maryanne); sisters-in-law, Manuella Walls and Donna and many other family members and friends.\n\nPam or "Aunt Pammy" will always be remembered for her love for her nieces and nephews, the way she was always impeccably dressed, and for the way she made people feel when they were with her. She knew how to make anyone laugh and was simply fun to be around. Her memory will live on in each ray of sunshine; this will be a reminder of her warmth and beauty.\n\nThere will be a graveside service honoring Pam's life on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:00AM at LaFayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville 28301. Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.
