Norma Hardison Moore, 82, of Fayetteville went home to be the Lord on November 3, 2021.\n\nNorma was born on May 26, 1939 to the late Robert A. and Willie Donovan Hardison in Troy, Michigan. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ret. MSG David Ronald Moore and her brother, J.L. Hardison.\n\nNorma is survived by her son, David Randall "Randy" Moore and wife Mary Ann, and daughter, Ronda Lynn Moore Cioch and husband, Steve; siblings, Bobby Hardison, Eddie Hardison, and Barbara Butler; grandchildren, Joshua Cioch and wife, Krysti, Cassi Cioch, and USAF Major Justin Moore, and wife, Cara; great-grandchildren, Jerid Adams, Skyler Green, Conner Green, and Jamison Cioch; as well as many other family members and friends who will cherish the sweet memories she left with them.\n\nNorma spent 23 years as a Telecommunicator with the Harnett County Sheriff's Department, which was a profession that was well suited to her quick mind and outgoing personality. She enriched her life and experiences by traveling and taking cruises with her husband. More recently she enjoyed lunch outings with her friends. Norma was a devoted military wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.\n\nThere will be a celebration of life honoring Norma on November 16, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church, Spring Lake at 12:30pm. There will be a brief visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
