Naomi Jeane Richmond

Naomi Jeane Richmond, 76, of Spring Lake, NC, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

She is survived by sons, Richard Bates and wife, Dawn, of Vancouver, British Columbia; John Bates and wife, Jackie, of Spring Lake, NC; William Bates and wife, Carlene of Aberdeen, SD; Robert Bates of Vancouver, British Columbia; and Stewart Bates and wife, Danni, of Edmonton, Alberta; daughters, Kari Keim of Escondido, CA; and Shanon Dryer of Ocean Side, CA; a brother, Tom Hughes of Fordyce, AK; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Layton Chapel Baptist Church in Spring Lake with Pastor Steve Swagger officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the church prior to the service.
