Nancy L. Ivers, 80, of Spring Lake, went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Bill Ivers.\n\nShe leaves behind two daughters, Kristine Lamb (Dennis) and Kelly Ruble (William "Buster'), seven grandchildren, Jonathon Morel (Allison), Rebekah Poolos (Ryan), Matthiew Morel, Katharyn Morel, Jennifer Caffrey, Cynthya Ruble, Sammantha Brown (Earl), and thirteen great-grandchildren.\n\nShe had two sisters, Betty Anderson (Jim), and Linda Westermeyer (Bob), and a brother, Bill Guptill (Christine).\n\nNancy was a Christian woman who believed in the power of prayer. She loved going out to eat with family and friends. She also enjoyed watching the birds in her front yard. She especially loved spending time loving on her family. Her desire was that all of her family would love the Lord.\n\nA memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 2:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church on Bethel Baptist Road in Spring Lake, NC.
