Mildred "Nell" Harrington Pate Obituary (1930 - 2022)

Mildred LaNell "Nell" Harrington Pate, 91, of Spring Lake, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Nell was born on December 6, 1930 to the late John Harrington and Betty Sloan Harrington. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Pate, Jr. and several siblings. Nell was a homebody, but enjoyed gardening, raising tomatoes and tending to her azaleas. She is survived by her two sons, Howard "Poss" Pate, III and his wife, Anita; and Ronnie Pate and his wife, Vicky; one sister, Ginger Harrington; and several grandchildren. A funeral service honoring Nell's life will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Spring Lake First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Doug Houston officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Spring Lake, NC. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Adcock Funeral Home.
