Michael Barry

Michael (Mike) Charles Barry, 65, of Sanford, North Carolina, passed away after a life of service and devotion to family. Born on November 22, 1959, in Gary, Indiana, he was the son of Sharon Barry and the late Joseph Barry. He was preceded in death by his brother, Sean Barry.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy J. Barry. He is survived by his daughter, Kawana Lee, and his son, Marco Croom and brother, Mark Barry, and his grandchildren who will carry forward his memory with pride.

Mike proudly served in the United States Army, achieving the rank of E6 during his military career. He was a dedicated soldier who honored his country with loyalty and courage. Following his service, he remained deeply connected to the values of discipline, perseverance, and love of country.

Rendering of Military Honors will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake. A visitation for family and friends will immediately follow. Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake.

Mike will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and soldier who lived his life with strength and dedication.
