Diana Mitchell

Mary (Diana) Mitchell, 75, died Friday September 20, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.

Diana joined the Air Force in 1968, serving 8 years working at Andrews Air Force Base and Castle Air Force Base. She began working in 1978 at Kelly Springfield Tire Company and retired in 2009.

Born in Maryville, Mo in July 15, 1949 she married James Mitchell in Fayetteville, NC.

Diana was preceded in death by her father John R. House and her brother Robert Dean House.

Diana is survived by her daughter Brandy M. WIlliamson of Fayetteville, son Matthew J. Mitchell (Elaine) of Katy Texas, her mother Mary E. House of Bolokow, MO. 3 sisters; Jean Pearson (Jim) of Warrensburg MO., Stephanie Wittman (Stafen) of Belgium, Valarie Grisdale (David) of Warrensburg MO., brother John W. House (Nina) of Blockow MO., and 2 granddaughters; Bailey E. Williamson of Brooklyn, NY and Charlotte M. Mitchell of Katy, TX.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Diana, the family asks all donations be made to St. Andrews United Methodist Church Benevolence Fund.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 12:00 - 1:00pm at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 121 Lofton Drive, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28311 with a Memorial Service immediately following at 1:00pm.
