Lillian French Aust, 83, of Fayetteville went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2021.\n\nLillian was born on July 8, 1938 to the Late Claude and Myrtle French in Fresno, California. She is preceded in death by one sister, one brother and her daughter, Deborah Holmes.\n\nLillian was a talented artist who enjoyed oil painting mountain landscapes and took art classes at Fayetteville Tech in the "Artist Club" twice a week. She leaves behind her paintings as a beautiful memory for her husband of 66 years, James H. Aust and their children, James D. Aust and Bonnie Aust Cox; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.\n\nThere will be a funeral service honoring Lillian's life on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, 2226 Lillington Highway, Spring Lake, NC 28390. Burial will immediately follow the service at LaFayette Memorial Park, Ramsey Street. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00a.m. until 12:00p.m. Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.
