Kyong Choe Stephens Obituary (1947 - 2021) - Spring Lake, North Carolina

Kyong Choe Stephens, 74, of Spring Lake, NC died on December 6, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was born September 19, 1947 in Korea. Kyong became a United States citizen in 1979. She is survived by her son, James Wood; and grandson, Jack, of Olympia, Washington. Kyong was a long-time resident of Spring Lake, NC and attended Living Water Assembly of God until her health declined. Kyong loved to cook for her family and friends. She also loved to fish, often traveling to the North Carolina coast to do the same. Kyong loved children and was adored by her family and friends. A service in Kyong's honor will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Living Water Assembly of God.
