She loved to laugh, loved to smile, and loved to make other people smile. As a child, she looked up to her father as he served in the military, leading her to become an enthusiastic patriot, a real lover of America. She was a true red head, strong-willed and opinionated. As an adult, Karen found a passion for Real Estate. She formed lasting relationships with her clients, and it truly made her day seeing people contented and joyous in their newfound forever homes. Outside of work, Karen took pleasure from the simple things in life. She loved to sit in her rocker on the front porch and watch the bumblebees. She would observe and enjoy as her husband, and best friend, Michael, worked in the yard with the assistance, or perhaps playful hindrance, of their beloved children. Karen rescued many a dog, whom she adopted into her family as if they were one of her own children. She loved to be with her family, whether it be at home, or fishing at Tillery Lake with no worm on her hook. Karen was a truly happy woman, full of heart and personality, and she will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. \n\nA Celebration of Life service will be held in Karen's honor on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the Adcock Funeral Home Chapel. \n\nIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society at https://www.fapspet.org/donate.
