Juan Perez

Juan (Johnny) Ramon Perez, born on May 29, 1947, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully in North Carolina on December 20, 2025, at the age of 78.

Johnny was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved. He cherished gatherings with family and friends, creating countless lasting memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love. He made a career as a union welder, a profession he took great pride in and through which he demonstrated dedication, skill, and a strong work ethic. A passionate sports fan, Johnny proudly supported the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, and Ohio State University. Above all, he was deeply devoted to his faith and his love for Jesus Christ.

Johnny is survived by his loving children: Brenda (Ronnie) Palmer, Sandra (David) Morgan, Gary Perez, and Tony (Shelley) Perez. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Anthony Perez; Austin and Alyssa Moore; and Spencer and Lexi Perez. He is also survived by his siblings: Carmen Perez, Angel Perez, Miguel Perez, Maria Perez Velasquez, Lydia Perez, William Perez, and Rosa Perez, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his spouse Patricia Perez; his parents, Leonides and Teresa Perez; and his brother, Julio Perez.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 24th at Temple Baptist Church, located at 3159 Sanderosa Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28312. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m.

Johnny’s kindness, loyalty, and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever lovingly remembered.
