Jospeh Wayne Carson, 86, died on Friday, December 28, 2018 in his home in Fayetteville, NC There will be a funeral service on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, with a visitation on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Adcock Funeral Home & Crematory in Spring Lake, NC. Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Judy, and is survived by two daughters, Sonya Raper and husband, Chris, of Wilson, NC and Christal Honeycutt and husband, Michael, of Fayetteville, NC, and three grandchildren, Michael Tyler Honeycutt, Justin Honeycutt, and Kristen Raper. Joe spent 26 years in the United States Air Force, fighting in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He also loved to do woodworking and bass fishing.
