Johnsie Ruvel Kelly Obituary (1927 - 2018)

Ms. Johnsie Ruvel Kelly, 90, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018, in Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Eadie and husband, Barry; son, Bernell Gates and wife, Bonnie; sister, Donine Yow; son-in-law, Ray Upchurch; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great, great-granddaughters. She is preceded in death by two daughters, Joan Upchurch and Arlene Kaye Gates. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Calvary Missionary Methodist Church, 185 Calvary Church Road, Olivia, NC. 28368. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.
