John Christian Kopf Obituary (1999 - 2016) - Spring Lake, North Carolina

John Christian Kopf, 17, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016. He was happy to be a Cape Fear Colt for a few years, then delighted to be welcomed back as a Trojan at Pine Forest High School. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved football. He also enjoyed quality time with his cousins. John is preceded in death by his grandparents; Charles Wilson of Bunnlevel as well as James and Carolyn Kopf of Fayetteville. He is survived by his parents, John and Crystal Kopf; his baby sister Caroline, all of Fayetteville; and maternal grandmother, Marie Wilson of Bunnlevel. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Flat Branch Presbyterian Church from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM prior to the funeral services which will take place at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2016. Rev. Bert Pitchford and Pastor Helen Hysell will be officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
