Jimmy Lewis Ingram, 73, of Sanford, NC passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, in his residence.\n\n \n\nJimmy was born in Harnett County, NC. He was a gentle giant and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He especially loved his family\n\n \n\nHe is preceded in death by his parents, Ishmael Worth Ingram and Mamie Holder Ingram, an infant daughter, Brandy Nichole Ingram, and a brother-in-law, Dannie McNeill, Jr.\n\n \n\nHe is survived by his wife, Cindy Simpson; daughter, April I. Honeycutt and husband, Greg; brother, Worth Lee "Buster" and wife, Sherry; sisters, Linda Hair and husband, Kenny; Barbara McNeill; Angela Edwards and husband, Scott; Sheila Wiley and husband, Terry; and Joy Thomas and husband, Roy; grandson, Zachary Stewart; step-children, Casey and Jace McNeil; Megan Taylor; D.J. Hubbard; Kimberly Hubbard and husband, Makel; step-grandchildren, Jace McNeil, Jr; Dawson Baxter and husband, John; Raiden Hubbard; Elyce Quick; and Jesiah Quick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.\n\n \n\nA memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Adcock Funeral Home with Scott Hair officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.\n\n \n\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UNC Children's Hospital, 101 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, NC, 27514 in memory of his daughter, Brandy Nichole Ingram.
