Jaronta Saunders, 34 of Washington DC went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 10, 2023. Jaronta was born to the late Boyd Woolen and Tapeka Saunders Bigby on March 1st, 1989 in Washington DC. He attended Washington Math Science Tech PCHS, and after joined the military in 2010. Jaronta leaves many cherished memories to his loving wife of 13 years, Charnise Saunders; children, Jamira Saunders, Jayla Saunders, Jazmyn Saunders, Jaronta Saunders Jr.; brothers, Dalonta Saunders, Marquis Balloon, *late Derrick Thomas (brother-in-law), Wayne Holley (brother-in-law); sisters, Shante Balloon, Biancia Saunders, Spirit Bigby, Brittany Bigby, Charmaine Bell (sister-in-law); grandmother, Linda Jackson; parents, Tapeka Saunders and *late Boyd Woolen; Jeaninne Bell (mother-in-law), Herbert Bigby (step-father); aunt Tawanna Ganey; uncles, James Woolen, Aaron Woolen, Joseph Gainey, niece Dallas Saunders, a host of cousins and military family. Jaronta was a man of faith and compassion..... Jaronta loved making music and sharing his creations with the world. He always wanted to share his story with everyone and he did that through his lyrics. He was very passionate and dedicated to everything he did. He was a loving father and husband, and he loved his family so much. There will be a visitation for family and friends on December 8th, 2023, at 10 am, at United Pentecostal church. A funeral service honoring Jaronta’s life will be held on December 8th, 2023 at 11 am at United Pentecostal Church.
