She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy V. Parsley and Lela Parsley; her brothers,

Janie was a woman of deep faith and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
A longtime member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church in Fayetteville, she was always eager to
share her love for Jesus and her faith with others.
Janie was a talented athlete throughout her life, Janie would excel at any sport she played. She
especially enjoyed golf and earned numerous trophies that reflected both her skill and
competitive spirit. Anyone who entered Nana and Papa's home was greeted with open arms,
plenty of stories, and without question, one of the cleanest and most welcoming homes they
would ever visit.
While Janie will be deeply missed by her family and many friends, it brings comfort to know
that she and Clarence are reunited in Heaven. We can imagine them together once again,
preparing for their next tee time or planning another fishing trip.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of
Creekside at Three Rivers Assisted Living and Caris Hospice for the excellent care, kindness,
and support they provided to Janie.
