Harper Adalynn Prevost

–

Fayetteville, North Carolina

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harper Prevost, who left us far too soon. Harper passed away on August 2, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.

Harper was born on June 15, 2019, to her beloved Mother, Paige Ivey. She lived her life with a sparkle that brightened the days of everyone she met, making an indelible mark on our hearts.

Harper is now playing games in heaven with her cousin Jayce and favorite dog Saddie Girl. Harper is also preceded in death by her Great Grandfathers Richard Prevost and James Jacob.

Harper was a beacon of joy and positivity, known for her loving and vibrant spirit. Her passions included watching Taylor Swift and Bluey, crafting with Nana, and enjoying makeup and nail polish. She found joy in painting, gardening, and baking with Sassy and Bebe. Harper was a spirited and stubborn little girl, with an immense love for animals, especially lions, elephants, and turtles. She loved going to the barn to help Bebe feed the horses. Harper also enjoyed watching her Uncle Alex, Uncle Tyler, and "Someone" play baseball.

Harper was an exceptional friend and family member, always the life of the party and the light in every room. She had a unique gift for making others feel better with her infectious smile and unwavering warmth. She will be remembered fondly as Mommy’s best beautician, Grampy's girl, and a little soul who truly loved everyone, including strangers.

Harper is survived by her parents; Paige and Justin Ivey, her Bubba Lawson who she loved fiercely, her grandparents; Jana and Jason Prevost, great-grandma; Marie Prevost, aunts and uncles; Jasmin, Briana, Tyler, and Alex.

A Celebration of Harper’s Life will be held on August 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory. All are welcome to join us in honoring her memory and the joy she brought to our lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital’s ROHHAD Fund, in honor of Harper’s legacy and to support the fight against rare diseases.
