Gregory William Barber, 77, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 11, 2021.\n\nGregory is survived by his love of 56 years, Linda Barber; his children, Thomas Barber and wife, Rhonna, Cheryl Belden and husband, Daniel, and Christopher Barber; his grandchildren, William Tolley, Amanda Leigh Sibrizzi, Nicholas Belden, Amanda Susan Schilling, and Zachary Belden; and 7 great grandchildren.\n\nGregory was a down-to-earth guy who never met a stranger. He was a hard-working man and always provided for his family. He retired from Goodyear in Fayetteville, NC after 30 years. When his first grandchild was born he became a "Pappy." Over the years, he became everyone's Pappy. He volunteered in the schools his grandchildren went to and was always first to volunteer to go on any field trip. He loved children and always encouraged them to strive for success. He was the guy you could call anytime and he would show up. He will be missed but remembered with so much love.\n\nThe family has chosen to say goodbye privately with those who really knew and loved him, but asks that you remember Gregory fondly, and keep him in your hearts and prayers.
