MSGT Gregory Wendell Driggers, 56, of Spring Lake passed away on June 3, 2020 due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident.\n\nGregg was born on November 19, 1963 to William Jacob "Jake" Driggers and the late Eloise Smiley Driggers. \n\nGregg was a great father, husband, and friend and will be missed by those he leaves behind. Surviving him are his wife Tina McCutcheon Driggers; two sons, Justin and Cole Driggers; one bonus daughter, Noel Freeman; a brother Jason Driggers and his wife Charlotte; his aunt Jeanette Smiley "Nant Net"; three sisters-in-law, Cheryl Griffith (Kevin), Crystal Freeman (Kevan), Kimberly Helmer (Steve); and many nieces and nephews.\n\nGregg was funny, loved to go on cruises, and had a very special place in his heart for special needs children. He loved to play softball in the Base League and the local church league. He loved shooting, go-carting, and his bike and military community. Gregg was the president of The Infidels- Sanford Chapter, a Clemson fan, and adored his wife and children. He retired from the Air Force after serving twenty years and was currently working in the Joint Special Operations Command on contract. Gregg was respected by his coworkers and peers and will be missed by those fortunate enough to know him.\n\nThere will be a local Celebration of Life on June 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Manna Church, Cliffdale site.\n\nThere will be a drive through visitation on June 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Barrineau PH Church, 3709 St. James Road, Lake City, SC 29560\n\nMemorial contributions, in honor of Gregg, may be made to http://lowesyndrome.org/donate/.
