Fabio Amalio Reyes, 83, of Fayetteville went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2021.\n\nFabio was born to the late Lydia Rodriguez and Miguel A. Reyes on September 15,1938 in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Xavier Fabio Reyes; brother, Miguel Reyes and granddaughter, Ashley Marie Belcher.\n\nFabio is survived by his children, Leeann Isaacson and husband Todd Isaacson, Rebecca Sumner and husband James Sumner, Richard M. "Ricky" Reyes, Rodney R. Reyes; sister, Maria A. Reyes Bonilla Ph. D.; 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.\n\nFabio was a big flirt and often referred to himself as Fabulous Fabio. He had a wonderful sense of humor and everyone who met him loved him. He was a man of God and served his country in the U.S. Army as a 101st and 82nd Airborne Paratrooper. He learned to speak German after being stationed in Germany and would often use it to sweep the ladies off of their feet. Fabio loved his family and his friends, and will be missed terribly.\n\nFuneral services will be held in Fabio's honor on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00pm at Adcock Funeral Home, Spring Lake with burial immediately following at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Spring Lake. Visitation for friends and family will be held prior to the service, from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.
