Ester Mae Porter Lanier

Ester Mae Porter Lanier, 73, of Bunnlevel, NC, went to be with our Lord and Savior at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Ester was born on October 2, 1951 in Lumberton, NC. She was the daughter of Pete and Stradie Porter and Hazel G. Jacob’s. She is preceded in death by her husband Carlos W. Lanier, her brother “Lil” Pete Porter, her grandson Devan C. Collins, and her great grandson, Justice. G. Walker.

The surviving family includes four children, Geneva Baker of the home, Timmie Hite (Krista), Lori Chambers (David), and Teresa Nance (Craig); seven grandchildren, Misty English (Jonathan), Nikki Freeman (Terry), Katie English, Blake Hite, Cherish Lennon, Destiny Clifford, and Samuel Nance; seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

There will be a viewing for family and friends at Harmony Baptist Church, Bunnlevel on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with the service following at 2:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Westview Cemetery, Lillington. Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory of Spring Lake.
