Edward Wilcox

Edward Wilcox, age 77 of Cameron passed away on December 13, 2023, at his home with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathy Ibes Wilcox.

Edward was born on October 5, 1946, in Winsted, CT to the late Gerald and Elsie Wilcox. He was a veteran and was most proud of his service to his country serving in the U.S. Army. Edward always supervised small projects around the house and was always learning new things on YouTube. When he was able, Edward loved to work on cars. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Ben Wilcox; his daughter, Celeste Wilcox; his bonus children: Robert Ryan (wife, Heather), Jeanette Blass (husband, Robert), BJ Magill, Leona Brazee, and John Brazee; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 11:30 am to 1:15 pm at the funeral home. Adcock Funeral Home of Spring Lake is serving the family.
