Don Latham Obituary (1952 - 2018) - Spring Lake, North Carolina

It is with great sadness that the family of Don Latham announces his passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 25, 2018 in his 66th year surrounded by his loved ones. Don was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, proudly served on many law enforcement agencies in Cumberland County (Sheriff's Department Patrol Commander and Chief of Police for Spring Lake, NC and The Fayetteville Police Department Narcotics Division/Crime Division and Training officer.) He was the beloved husband of Billie Latham. He is also survived by his sons: Richard Campbell, Brad Joyce and Stephen Latham; sister Denna Loop; and by his grandchildren: Carissa Joyce and Zoe Campbell. Predeceased by his parents and loved ones: father, Clarence V. Latham; mother, Christine Vaughn Harvey, twin brother, Ronnie Latham; and daughter, Christine Mabry A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Adcock Funeral Home, 2226 Lillington Hwy., Spring Lake, NC with a visitation from 12:00 to 1:30 PM.
