Delt Hundley

Delbert “Delt” Madison Hundley, 89, passed away at his home on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Delt was born on September 23, 1937, in Clintonville, West Virginia, to the late Max and Silva Hundley. In addition to his parents, Delt was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara McSparren; his sisters, Ida Synowski and Laura Frances Brown; his brother, Roy Simm; and his first wife, Juanita Simms Hundley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Parker Hundley; his son, Delbert M. Hundley, Jr.; his grandchildren, J.R. Sanner, David Sanner, Shane McSparren, and Douglas Hundley; along with numerous friends throughout the community.

Delt proudly served his country in the United States Army, dedicating his career to military service. He will be remembered for his dedication to his country, his love for his family, and the friendships he made throughout his life.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Adcock Funeral Home & Crematory in Spring Lake. A funeral service honoring his life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial with military honors will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake, North Carolina.
