Bonita Hamel Miller Obituary (1930 - 2017) - Spring Lake, North Carolina

Mrs. Bonita Hamel Miller, 87, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Haymount Rehab and Nursing Home. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She was also a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William Joseph "Bill" Miller. She is survived by daughters, Amy Miller, Bridgid Kozik and husband, Bill; Gina Jorsch and husband, Colin; Amanda Kowal and husband, Rick; sons, Patrick Miller and wife, Pam, and Tony Miller. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Adam; Erik (Mary); Luke (Sarah); Nichole (Joe) Harris; Emily, Katrina Jorsch, Damien Kowal and Kendra Kowal; eleven great-grandchildren: Hannah, Tyson, Ryanne, Hollie, Mia, Madison, Easton and Conner Harris; Malcorne, Lilyanna and Jayden Kowal. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at 6:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Fayetteville. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Bonnie will be laid to rest at a later date. Her family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1000 Andrews Road, Fayetteville, NC 28311.
