Bobby Reaves

Bobby Thomas Reaves, 57, of Linden went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2024, while surrounded by his family.

Bobby was born on August 5, 1966, in Wake County, NC to Johnny H. Reaves and the late Mary Agnes Reaves.

Besides his father Bobby is survived by his daughter, Brandi Marie Reaves (Cody), and his son, Johnathan Thomas Reaves (Sadie). His joy only grew with the birth of his beloved granddaughter, Caroline Norris, who brought even more happiness into his life. His brother, Brian Reaves (Leigh Ann), nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Victoria, and Brandon Reaves, and a host of extended family members and friends will forever cherish his memory.

Bobby’s life was filled with laughter, love, and a good dose of humor. He had a quick wit and comedian-like presence, he was truly the life of the party. Bobby spent over 25 years in concrete formwork, a career marked by dedication and craftsmanship. Outside of work, he found joy in fishing and cheering on his favorite NASCAR racers, particularly Dale Earnhardt. He was a dedicated supporter of the UNC Tarheels and the Dallas Cowboys, proudly donning their colors and never missing a game. He had a unique and cherished love for his mother and often referred to her as "My Mama." They shared a bond that was incredibly special to him.

A visitation will be held on June 17, 2024, at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service Honoring Bobby's life will follow at 1:00 PM. Bobby will be laid to rest with his mother at Riverview Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM.
