Antionette "Toni" Denise Johnson Bodley was born August 27, 1963 to the late Mildred Yvonne Johnson and the late David Spencer Alston. Born and raised in Siler City, NC. She was called to her Heavenly home on January 18, 2021.\n\nPreceding her in death are her Mother (Yvonne), Father (David) a brother (Rickey), two grandchildren (Deiondre and Akirah) and many other family members.\n\nShe leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband Norman; a mother-in-law Sallie Bodley; a daughter D'Andrea Morris; a son Kameron Bodley (Tiana); 2 sisters Sharon Johnson & Takia Johnson; four brothers Mike, Darryl (Beverly), Freddie (Emma) and Frankie (Amy); two sister-in-laws Renee and Marilyn; four grandchildren Kysantre`, Kazya, Kyrah, and Zemirah, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\n\nToni joined Evans Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church at a young age and attended faithfully until leaving for college. She attended Silk Hope Elementary school and graduated from Jordan Matthews High School in 1981. She went on to attend St. Andrews College until leaving to join the U.S Army in 1985 and being honorably discharged in November of 1990. She was stationed in Germany on her first assignment and that is where she met and married Norman Bodley. Upon her return to the United States, she and Norman made their home in Fayetteville, NC.\n\nThere will be a graveside service at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Fort Bragg on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. A public visitation will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 2:00p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.
