Anthony "Tony" DeSorbo, Jr, 74, of Fayetteville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 4, 2021.\n\nTony was born on April 11, 1947 to the late Rose and Anthony DeSorbo, Sr. in Waterbury Connecticut. Tony is preceded in death by his daughter, Jayne DeSorbo and his brother, Corey DeSorbo.\n\nTony leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory. His wife, Diana Naudus DeSorbo; children, Heather DeSorbo, Anthony DeSorbo and wife Audra, Diane Davis and husband Mark, and Michael DeSorbo; brothers, Joseph and wife Joanne DeSorbo, of Georgia, Carmine DeSorbo of Connecticut, and John and wife Allison DeSorbo of Connecticut; ten grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.\n\nTony was a hard worker who enjoyed taking care of his family, playing basketball, and watching the New York Giants and Yankees. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and loved to admire God's beauty, especially at the beach, where he would simply sit and listen to the sounds of the ocean. Tony was often considered quiet and reserved until he got to know you. He served his country proudly in the US Air Force. Tony was a hero to his family when something needed done, he always seemed to know how to do it. He will truly be missed.\n\nThere will be a funeral service honoring Tony's life on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 3:00pm at Freedom Baptist Church, 2115 Middle Road, Eastover, NC 28312. There will be a visitation for family and friends held prior to the service from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.
