Ann Marie Flowers Hess, age 88 of Spring Lake went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 11, 2023. \n\nAnn was born on February 13, 1935 in Harnett County, NC to the late James B. and Alice Pate Flowers. She was an active member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Ann will forever be remembered for her amazing yeast rolls and also for her delicious fruit cakes. \n\nShe is survived by her loving husband, David Hess; son, Roy M. Thomas; stepdaughter, Phyllis Bagby; stepson, David Hess, Jr.; two grandchildren; brother, Pat Flowers and two sisters, Melrose Krenek and June Duarte. \n\nThe family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 16 from 1-2 p.m. at Cedar Falls Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Spring Lake. Services entrusted to Adcock Funeral Home and Crematory, Spring Lake.
